Summer Camp At Ohana Farm and Gardens

Set right next to the Myakka State Park, our secluded old world property includes farm animals, gardens, creeks, trails, fishing dock and large pond. Campers will experience nature curriculum, environment enrichment, animal care, gardening and endless art all in a dense flourishing setting.

Camp Highlights:

•  4 Exciting Weeks of Nature-Themed Learning

•  Daily curriculum focused on Earth,  Art and Animal Studies

•  Hands-on art and garden projects tied to each week’s theme

•  Outdoor nature play, animal care, fishing, creek adventures, water play, and more

Week 1: Bugs and pollinators — July 14–17

Week 2: Pond and Creek Life — July 21–24

Week 3: Forest Friends— July 28–July 31

Week 4: Plants and Fungi— August 4–7

Pricing:

•  $375 per child per week (9:30 AM - 3:30 PM)

•  +$75 per week for extended hours (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)

Daily Drop-Ins Welcome (as availability allows):

•  $110 per day (9:30 AM – 3:30 PM)

All inclusive- Publix Sub Lunch Provided!

PARENTS CAN JOIN US EACH THURSDAY AFTER CAMP TO SHARE ALL THE CREATED ART AND PROJECTS DONE THROUGHOUT THE WEEK!

Summer Camp is designed for children ages 6 to 12.

Meals & Snacks

    •    Lunch is provided daily.

Publix sandwiches, chips or cracker packs and 

lemonade.

    •    Please pack a few healthy snacks in an insulated lunchbox or cooler.

    •    No soda or candy, please.

    •    Campers should bring a refillable insulated water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day.

Clothing & Gear

    •    Summer camp shirts are provided for every camper and must be worn each day. This helps us easily keep eyes on everyone throughout the property.

    •    Children must wear closed-toed, hard-soled water shoes for safety and comfort.

    •    Please apply sunscreen and bug spray before arrival. If additional application is needed during the day, please send labeled products in your child’s backpack.

    •    Pack the following in a clearly labeled backpack:

    •    Towel

    •    Bathing suit

    •    Change of clothes

    •    We value kindness, curiosity, and care for the natural world. Campers are expected to show respect for nature, animals, staff, and fellow campers at all times.

    •    This is a tech-free environment—please leave all electronics at home.

    •    We spend most of our time outdoors—please dress your child appropriately for the weather and camp activities.
